What do I need to create my Vedic birth chart?
Your birth date, local birth time and birth city. Jyotisya finds the coordinates, elevation and historical time zone itself — no latitude or longitude needed. If the exact time is uncertain, say so: the chart is tested across the range instead of pretending.
Is my birth data stored?
Birth facts are sent to Jyotisya's calculation service for the requested calculation. The current report stays in this browser tab and is not added to an account or shared across devices unless you explicitly choose encrypted save. There are no third-party trackers on the site.
Which astrological tradition does Jyotisya use?
Lahiri sidereal calculations with whole-sign houses, nakṣatras, divisional charts and Vimśottarī daśā timing. It offers a traditional lens, not guaranteed events or medical, legal, or financial verdicts.
